USCG Defender Class Rescue Boat

This is the boat commanded by Moira Halloran that she uses in the rescue operation of the Bon Temps Roulez.

Introduced by the Coast Guard in 2002, the Defender-class Respond Boats are 25 feet long and are capable of speeds in excess of 50 MPH. The can be managed with a crew of two and hold up to ten additional people. The size and speed make them ideal for small boat rescue operations.
